What baby equipment can I hire from Burnside Baby Hire?
We offer premium prams, capsules, travel cots, high chairs, feeding gear, safety items and newborn essentials, all cleaned, safety-checked and ready to use.
What areas do you service?
We are Adelaide based, including metro, eastern suburbs, hills and surrounding areas.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes! We offer both delivery and pickup. At checkout you can choose:
• Delivery
• Pickup from Tusmore, available 7 days a week betwen 8am and 10pm
Fees vary by location and item.
Can you set up my accomodation?
Yes! Just add "Set up" from the Add Ons collection to your cart before checking out and we'll make your stay feel like home. We offer set ups in Air BnBs, hotel rooms, and in your family and friends home.
What if my accommodation is outside the delivery area?
If your accommodation is outside our standard delivery zones, we can usually arrange a specialised delivery quote. Just contact us with your location and dates.
Can I collect the item myself?
Absolutely. You can pick up from Tusmore at your booked time.
How do I book?
Book directly through our website. Select your dates, choose pickup or delivery, and complete payment to secure your hire.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular items (like the Bugaboo Butterfly, travel cots and capsules) book out quickly, especially during school holidays and summer. We recommend booking as early as possible.
Do you take a bond?
We don’t take a traditional cash bond. For some bookings we may securely hold card details as collateral in line with our hire terms & conditions.
How are items cleaned and sanitised?
Every hire item is thoroughly:
• Cleaned
• Sanitised
• Safety-checked
• Tested for correct function
Are your items safety checked?
Yes. All items are inspected before and after each hire. Baby seats are checked for expiry dates, damage, and recalls.
Do you install car seats?
Due to safety concerns we currently do not install carseats or capsules.
What happens if something gets damaged?
We understand wear and tear happens. Minor scuffs are fine.
If an item is broken due to misuse or excessive damage, a repair or replacement fee may apply.
Can I extend my hire?
Yes, subject to availability. Message us as soon as you know you need more time and we’ll update your booking.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations made:
• 7+ days before hire → Full refund
• Less than 7 days → 50% refund
• Within 48 hours → No refund
(We can also offer a credit.)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, Afterpay, PayPal and more.
Do you hire for holidays and visiting family?
Yes! We specialise in short-term hires for visitors, grandparents, and travel.
What condition are the items in?
Our gear is in excellent condition: clean, safe, and carefully maintained. We only stock trusted brands like Bugaboo, BabyBjörn, Britax, Maxi-Cosi, and more.
Do you offer long-term hire discounts?
Yes. Many items (high chairs, travel prams, cots, capsules) have discounted long-term hire rates.
